These terms govern use of this website and participation in Ascend Youth Initiative programs. Because we serve young people, they include provisions for minors, parental/guardian consent, media releases, and program liability.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or participating in any Ascend Youth Initiative program, workshop, or event, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or participate in our programs.

2. Educational purpose only

All content on this website and in our programs is general financial education and information. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified or licensed professional. 3. Youth and minor participation

Our programs are intended for youth and young adults ages 16–26. Participants under the age of 18 (minors) may participate only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering a minor, a parent or legal guardian affirms that they have reviewed these terms and agree to them on the minor's behalf.

4. Parental and guardian consent

Where applicable, enrollment forms, event registrations, and any collection of information from a minor require a parent or legal guardian's consent. We may decline or withdraw participation if required consent is not provided.

5. Media and photo releases

Photographs, video, or audio may be captured at programs and events for educational and promotional purposes. Such media is used only where a signed media/photo release is in place. For minors, the release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. You may opt out by notifying us in writing before the event.

6. Program participation and liability

Participation in programs and events is voluntary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascend Youth Initiative, its directors, officers, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. Certain programs may require a separate participation agreement or liability waiver, signed by a parent or legal guardian for minors.

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
